About Glow Theatre Group
Glow Theatre Group is led by Jackie Driscoll. Jackie is an experienced teacher and director. She has directed and choreographed a huge number of plays and musical theatre shows for children and adults. She created the company over 12 years ago and is thrilled to see it being such a positive influence in the lives of so many young people.
Jackie trained as a dancer from the age of 5, and has never lost her love of performing. She sings with Surrey Harmony, the 5 times UK champion Women’s Barbershop Chorus, and has many years of experience as their choreographer, helping them to win their 5 gold medals and the coveted ‘Showmanship’ rose bowl award. Jackie now coaches in the Showmanship category.
Glow Theatre Group has a highly experienced team which works to develop the group in all areas. This is an awesome team, comprising accomplished directors, musical directors and choreographers, as well as experts in technical theatre. The team work together to direct, support the individual, small group and whole cast rehearsals, coach singing performance skills, and design and teach choreography. The Glow team also supervises and co-ordinates all practical aspects of the theatrical productions, stage managing, prompting, backstage organisation, costumes, props, chaperoning and Front of House. Multi-tasking is a speciality!
Glow also works closely with a number of specialists and experts who have specific experience in lighting, sound design and set design and construction.
